Seymour made amps?

All through the 80s, at least. They sounded really good, too. With swapable tube modules for different tones.

I will say, I always liked the way these amps looked. And there was a full line, from combos to stacks.

those other ones seem like some kinda hybrid. one 12ax7 tube sounds like a pi feeding the power tubes with a ss preamp like the musicman amps

Yes, they are hybrids. We sold them, and they sound decent, but IMO were nothing special.

Lotsa hidden treasures from the 80s. Forgotten gems. Dean Markley made amps too. I have a CD60 combo( some refer to it as The poormans Boogie Mark II) Those were indorsed by Clapton Lifeson and Andy Summer...and Vernon Reid played the 120 heads. But in 2026 noone even remembers/ knows. They think its a string company.
Other honorable mentions Kitty Hawk( Leslie West used them) and Risson amps and Spectra( Dean Markley again)all great forgotten gems.
