SH-55 seth lover bridge installed!

no more custom whatever, jb that, i like this seth lover very much

oh yes, SD, thank you for including the mounting ring screws!

i like how natural my guitar sounds now, with other high output pickups, i didn't like how certain frequencies dominated others.

surprisingly, for my applications, it handles high gain better than the high output buckers that i've used before.

i also have a 59n in the neck

i like this 59n/seth b combo very much..though i suspect many forumites don't use that exact same combo..

i don't experience any volume differences while switching between the two..
i had a common misconception that if a pup was lower output, it'd be weaker sounding..that is not the case..

in fact, it sounds bigger on the bass than other buckers. it's very vocal and open.
i always used to have some degree of bass cut when switching from neck to bridge, but now i experience none of that (59n has lots of bass too, but with the seth b, it matches perfectly)

oh yea, i checked the stickers it says sh-55 b, so i know it's not some other pickup

ya, id have a Seth in the bridge in a second, except that with a hot hummer in the neck, like my Gibson T-Top, it just wont match up in terms of volume.Even the Custom 5 i put in the bridge still is not exactly evenly matched in volume to the T-Top-its a little weak.

My favorite pickup as well. I agree about the high gain remark, with a modern high gain amp you simply don't need a high output pickup because it will just compress the sound too much for my tastes. The seth stays natural sounding under high gain and is surprisingly easy to control the feedback.
