SH-5b/SH-1n vs. 500t/496r...

Just picked up an LP studio.. And wondering what combo would best work with the set up.. i play through a 6505+ head, 10-46 strings tuned to E flat. i like to play hard rock/metal... Let me know.. :smokin:

I'd stick a 59/Custom combo in that guitar for the styles you listed.

Yeah, that's the 'good tone' equivalent to that set. You'll like it, so don't hesitate. Another neck pickup I love isn't even a neck pickup, it's the Jazz Bridge. It's like a cross between the Jazz N and 59N. I have one LP with a Custom/Jazz B and it's the best that LP has sounded, and I've had a lot of combos in it.

Thanx a lot guys.. yea ive heard a lot of people talkin about using the Jazz b in the neck.. i think i might give it a try..:fingersx: when you installed it did you keep it in the same position as it would be in the bridge or did you rotate it so the pole pieces are by the neck?
