i was afraid the sh-6 would be a little muddy sounding, but it sounds so clean and crunchy
I love it almost as much as my lp!

With a low gain amp, like a plexi, it rules. With a high gain amp, it's overkill. I prefer the gain from the amp. I used to predominently use the SH-6, but had to run the gain lower to retain clarity. Now I use the Pearly Gates and crank up the gain. Much beefier.
