SH6N and SH6B - What are the differences?

Hopefully this is an easy one for someone to help me with.

What exactly are the differences between bridge and neck pickups? I just purchased a Seymour Duncan SH6N pickup (got a good deal on it). What are the differences between SH6N and SH6B? Would it be ok to be the SH6N neck pickup in the bridge position? Do the sounds differ at all, etc...

I know the SH6N has lower output than the SH6B... other than that, I can't really get into detail because I haven't had it in the neck. I am an SH6B user, though, and I love it. Oozes with harmonics and a razor sharp top end with some tight bass! I hear that the SH6B and SH6N are excellent when paired together.

The neck version is less hot at 12k , bridge is 16k .
So if you put it in the bridge it won't a distortion class pickup , but it could interesting , but maybe lacking of lows .
Some have tried the sh-6neck with an alnico 5 magnet , it could be interesting as well .
If you are looking for a lot of distortion it won't do it tho .

One option is to put it in the neck spot on my epipy les paul, I just want to make sure when playing clean that it won't distort too much,.. I know Distortion is in the name,. heh.. looking at the specs and listening to the sample, I'd say it'd be better suited in the neck, and it has lots of treble,.. Still might test it out in a bridge spot tho in another guitar,. has to be better than the ole stock pickups in it.

thx for the help!
