For people who make their own impulse responses, how about a thread where we can share them so other people can try them out?
I'll start with this impulse response that I made which is similar to the guitar tone from the Obsolete album be Fear Factory.

For those of you who are unfamiliar with Impulse responses they are used in modelling and are basically a snapshot of a real rig.
I think Axe-Fx use impulse responses for their cabinet emulation (though with what follows you don't need an Axe FX) and if you aren't sure how to use them, you load them into a convolution or IR loader plugin, run a preamp/distortion pedal into the mixer or use a good amp simulation plugin and make sure there is no cab emulation turned on.
You then load the IR wav into the convolution engine or impulse loader plugin. Here is one you can download for free.

If this made no sense to you, here's a video demonstration.
