Re: Shocking realization.

Was thinking maybe one of those triple yoke stands from Hercules. Or should I go with one of those 7 guitar pop up stands?

Re: Shocking realization.

I really dig the Hercules stands/hangers. A couple hangers and a single-stand is all I ever need at one time. (others in cases)

Re: Shocking realization.

What brand is that seven string?
Old Schecter. Diamond Series C+. Duncan Designed pups. I put a ceramic magnet in the bridge and wired the neck to a push pull on the volume pot, for series/parallel.

Re: Shocking realization.

Best thing I ever did was pack up my guitar stands and get wall hangers.

Ditto! If I have guitars in cases I just don't end up playing them... plus the guitars make GREAT decorations (my wife even likes them).

I have a 7-guitar stand that folds into a case and it's nice for taking to gigs. I usually take 3 guitars for myself and our bassist will use one of the slots as well for his backup. Seven would be pretty cramped for a gig where you may end up wanting to take something out in a hurry, but it'd be a good "space-saver" for keeping the guitars out at home if you don't want to go the wall hanger route.

Re: Shocking realization.

maybe one of those briefcase stands from GFS

Those briefcase/rack type stands take up less room than individual stands. I'd go that route if I kept the guitars out. Mine are kept in closed cases. Too much dust and grandkids visit often.

Coffin Case, when they were in business, used to make instrument guitar and bass cases that hold 3 instruments and had a cover. I have one for guitars. I intended on buying enough for all my guitars and my basses. They weren't cheap, mid to upper 100 bucks per case. And you still would need the individual cases for transporting the guitars. It probably would have cost me a grand but I don't have much space and it would have taken up a whole lot less space than individual cases.

Re: Shocking realization.

I'm thinking either the Hercules triple or the 7 spot briefcase. Wall hangers wouldn't work because I have covering over most of the wall to help cut down on sound reflection.

Re: Shocking realization.

Get a Warwick 7 spc folding stand for the traditional shapes. It looks like you already have the right stand for the V that suspends pointies off the ground.

that V has rounded pointy tips, so a briefacse stand won't harm it, the guitars that really can't stand on their points are the super sharp pointed ones, like the jackson king v, or asimetical shapes like the rhoads and explorer

Re: Shocking realization.

The V is on one of my Hercules stands as is my bass.

I have a guitar rack that sits in the corner of my living room. I (un)fortunately need to get another.

Re: Shocking realization.

When I got to that point, I started selling guitars.
I'd rather have 1-3 guitars that see a lot of miles instead.

Re: Shocking realization.

Ditto on OP. I have some slots of my stand taken up by 2 haha And I can't do wall hangers because I have double slanted ceilings in that room. Woo
