Short song with Alternative8

Hey all -- been a long time since I posted here, mostly cuz life's been throwing fastballs and music somehow took a back seat. Anyway, I wrote a short pop/emo/rock song and figured it was worth posting since it's the first thing I recorded with the alt8. A bit rough in parts, and definitely too cheesy, but comments and criticisms would be appreciated.

awesome man! I dig the tones on guitar and the riffage is pretty sick! I can hear all the parts. this is my type of music! I was cranking this tune. Hope to hear more stuff, sometimes curveballs are nice but I think music is betterz

Very good. I like the tone and I like how you built multiple parts off the same riff. Sounds like it was inspired by Joe Satriani.

Thanks for the kind words guys

Ascension -- it was just my schecter c-1 through the podxt diamond plate model. A bit of lo and hi pass filtering to cut back the fizz, and some reverb. The a8 really suits this guitar.
