Should I worry about insects/spiders on my guitar?

Why don't you buy one of those air spray cans and clean your guitar and case with it.
I'd spray my entire basement with toxic! No creepers around my stuff!
Wish I could do that. My guitar case has that soft fluffy stuff in it so the tiny spiders hid in it. They are really tough to kill cause just press one with my finger sometimes doen't kill them cause they are so small. I really don't want to move my case because the spiders can spread throughout my house.

Pour some rubbing alcohol in the fluffy part. You'll never hear from them again.

I had some medium black ones crawling out of a bulge in the warped baseboard of the bathroom wall from time to time. (The warping was from water damage.) I'd kill it, then another one would crawl out a few hours or days later while I'd be sitting there, innocently taking a wall-melting dump. (Then again, maybe that's what warped the baseboard...)

So I poured some rubbing alcohol in the hole, stuffed it with cotton so they couldn't get out, and never saw them again even after removing the cotton.

THE END

If alcohol doesn't work, dump the case. (So to speak.)
