No way that's a mid 50's (round string tree), like Geoff constantly reminds us (and it doesn't bother me at all), his is a '68.

So no, unfortunately Geoff is not a hot girl :lol:

Dude, same one you're rockin'! I've only seen like three models that come in Grafitti Yellow....Power Strat, Strat Plus, and Tom DeLonge. Out of those three only the DeLonge has the CBS headstock and the hardtail.

I still can't say if it's a super cool, super rare color that's based on something even cooler (John Milner's Ford Coupe in American Grafitti) or if it is just indeed, a piece of wood that looks like it was pissed on by a guy that drank some radioactive Gatorade.

It doesn't have a single hum though, it's got three singles on it.

Not usually a gold fan but the hardware looks cool on those AM DLX 50th models. And I love the cases they came in too.

I thought they were $2000ish.

It's my one and only collectible guitar. Otherwise, I buy 'em to play 'em.
$550 new when I was a sophomore in '79. and I thought that was pretty steep cuz I had friends telling me a regular Strat should cost $400 back then. And there were no import Strats back then, kids. Hadn't been invented yet.

'79 Fender Strat, upside down, Antigua.


My latest project. Will have black gotoh tuners, OFR, SD '59 HB. Satin finish on the neck, auto urethane on the body.

1990 Jackson Custom Shop Charvel strathead, one of 75 red ones made, another 75 were blue. Was a limited edition run for their European distributor at the time, Zitrone Musik. Like the somewhat similar 1991 Limited edition Strathead, these were never available for sale in the USA.

Mine has the distiction of being 7400, the very first one of all 150

This is amazing man. For some reason the sunburst-rosewood-dacades-worn look is the only worn look that I like. This one is as beauty as Rory Gallager's guitar. And sounds amazing tone too, I am hearing "out of my hands" as I write this.
