Here's my '99 Am Dlx Tele... or special edition. I don't know which, bought it used with the bigsby & P90 already installed. Routing appears to be 100% factory.

I used to own this Schecter USA Tele... SN# 980683 If this ever turns up, a reward IS offered...

And I just completed the finish work on this one... currently hanging from the ceiling while it cures. This was a kitchen table test-fit after 2-3 coats of Tru-Oil... the final deal has several. Warmoth neck, USACG thinline body.

That's gonna look really sweet once the clear coat is added. Oh, cream top binding would be stellar.

Thanks!

There is no "clear coat" per say... I finished the neck & body with Birchwood Casey Tru-Oil gunstock. In the pictures there, I think it's three coats. I had the body & neck hanging from the garage ceiling with some really untrue work lights & brought it into the house to get a better sense of what it looked like, snapped a few pictures. It now has about 6 coats & is way glossier! Couple more days of curing and I can add the "sheen & conditioner" stuff, maybe the wax too.

Creme binding would look cool... It would have to be handpainted on... I ordered a black guard for this one, but after seeing how dark the colors came out (darker then I expected) I started thinking that a creme or mint guard would be groovy...

Hmmmmm...

Re: Show Off Your TELECASTERS!!!

I only have a 52 RI Tele and a 72 RI tele.

I really love the sound, feel, fit and finish of the 52.

Re: Show Off Your TELECASTERS!!!

I'm going to be getting a 1-piece ash body for my Tele. Hopefully it'll all be done by the time I get back from Afghanistan!! Then there'll be an update on here!!! :D
