WOW!!! Nice collection. I don't think I've ever seen the Ibanez V before.

Well THIS won't help either but, Those old Roadstar IIs are awesome. I've had one since 83 and I like it so much I bought another a few years ago on eBay.

That RG410 is pretty rad I must say! And that 1770 is really cool. i always liked the pearl in the clearcoat especially on the white because over time the white ages yet the blue/purple sparklies in the pearl is accentuated by the faded paint.
Deep, I know. :)

Yes, it's a cool guitar. With the PAF Pro, it's quite versatile, despite the obvious Eddieism of the overall concept. The tone is quite snarly, and with 10s in Eb, has a bit of extra beef. I wanted a pink or red one but this one came up as a husk without hardware and electronics, so I went with it anyway. I think the best feature of these guitars is the neck – good quality and nice feel.

Yes, the clearcoat is also tinted slightly. The guitar has a more muted colour now after 30 years; would've been more yellow when new.

I had the bass (can't remember the model number) a few years ago. RIGHT after I bought it, one of my daughters needed surgery, and I got laid off at the same time, so it went away in the Great Gear Purge of 09. (And I got less for it than I paid for the hard case, grr)
The RC-365H I bought after playing a couple at stores and loving it. After looking for a while, I found one online that was a return with a broken pup selector switch. I completely rewired it-new Switchcraft/CTS/Fender Tele neck pup/ Gibson P-94. It sounded really good, but the neck was too thin. Also, that's when I decided I needed a real Gibson LP, so it got sold. In hindsight, I should have just gotten a fatter neck for it, since I haven't seen another RC like it.
The last one was a 79 ST-200 I saw at a GC, they wanted $300 for it so I was totally gonna use the credit card and just take the heat from The Boss, but she had actually taken the card out of my wallet the night before, to get something. So when I went back the next day, of course someone else had scooped it up. Bummer!

No pic, buy my 1520A (2009) is the shizzle from my nizzle. It's as stock as can be, and will NOT be modded. Curses to that.

Pic?

LOSTINTHE MASSES...THESE definitely should be in this thread!!! Hope you don't mind my sharing!

Step 1: buy a Japanese Ibanez RG1570 or something similar.

Step 2: take everything off the body.

Step 3: install everything onto this body.

Step 4: wire pickups to switch and put strings on.

That's it, you could knock that out in like an hour.

I've done 3 of these BTW:

Just got my first rc365t and I love it- I prefer wider flatter necks (and had seriously considered changing as well), but am surprised that I am adjusting to it rather quickly-

P94 is a neat idea- I've never owned one, guessing it was more aggressive and midrange than the stock humbucker? Stock HB is clean and bright.

As far as the neck, I've never been able to get much out of a tele neck- Building out pup loaded pickguards that will take some time, but will put a hotter neck in while I'm waiting, but haven't figured out what that will be.

Thanks for posting!

Re: "Show Some Ibanez Love" Thread

I got the P94 cause I love P90's, and I didn't want to have to rout it out.for the different shape. I thought the stock HB was real "blah", for lack of a better term. Although mine had wiring issues (it was a return) so it may not have been the pup's fault... I also thought of trying a lipstick pup in the neck spot. A friend had a LP Jr with that combo that sounded pretty sweet.

Re: "Show Some Ibanez Love" Thread

My local GC has a 652 prestige in really good condition (kinda cheap) but I'm not really in the market.
