My amp and guitar, i need to take a group picture some time including my other electric and pedals.
*and for the record, that picture of the amp was taken the day i got it from a 2nd hand place. Since then i've installed a handle on top, removed the stupid "crate" plate on the front, and taken a rag and some windex to it and cleaned it up a bit.

Agreed. I think it has something to do with the fact it looks like everything did in the 70's. Refrigerators, washers, dryers, furniture, wallpaper, whatever.

man, I wish I had gear like that...My only amp is a crappy Fender Frontman and my only good guitar is my MIM Tele. My other two electrics and my acoustic are all crap.

Thats about where i was at when i was 16. I'd say sell everything you own except for the tele and get a good cheap tube amp. then you'll be golden.

thanx guys, i wish i could have had a video of myself when i found it in the store. It was hiding amongst the other strats. I walked into the store determined to walk out with a strat. I was almost settled on a red MIM, then my friend pointed her out. I wish i could have seen my face.
The main thing i love about it is that i have never seen another soul with the same guitar. And it's got quite the stage presence. I'll probably never get rid of it. I bought it for 500 but i could easily get 700 on ebay, that value keeps going up. The neck feels so amazing. I keep getting bored with having just a strat, as anyone would, but i just remind myself how lucky i am and keep finding good tone, even without humbuckers!

Here we have my Vibrolux Reverb, Pine Snakehead Esquire(ish) clone, Ibanez beater that I am inheriting from the soon to be wife and my Baruke Jubilee Custom.
My pedalboard is a PedalTrain Pro w/ Voodoo Labs PPII hidden underneath. On the board is a ZVEX Wah Probe, PUP Booster, LoopMaster 5-Bypass box, Guyatone Tuner, HBE Power Screamer, Monsterpiece Fuzz, 1980 Small Stone, and a Deluxe Memory Man.
What else do you need? I dunno, but if I find it I have room to grow! :beerchug:

Seriously dude. I had crap guitars until I was about 26 when I bought my first USA Jackson. The only other decent guitar I bought was a custom ESP from a friend when I was 21. It was all garbage up to and before that. Save your cash. Don't settle for what you can afford. Set your sights on what you want and work to get it. It's the only way you can get good gear.

yeah here we go... The acoustics are vicariously in this pic from their cases being in the background (currently have one A/E, two legit 6 strings, semi broken 12 string, and another semi broken 12 string a friend left here) but acoustics are too boring to take pics of so
