I tried looking around the forum and couldn't find any good concrete input about the SHPR-2. I was in the market for a new pickup, replacing a JB, and came across this little thing. I love the sound of P-90's and find the idea of having the option of a P-90/rails/ and both in series pretty awesome.
My question is this....does anyone have any input on the matter? I play a Schecter s-1 elite (mahogany body/rosewood fretboard) and plan to buy a Peavey Classic 50 in the near future.
I just bought a triple shot pair, though i may have to do some cutting and adding to the ring because of the weird shape of my guitar (for example, the bridge ring is taller towards the neck and shorter towards the bridge).
EDIT: Also, i'd like to know if yall think the SHPR-2 is worth it over the SHPR-1
