single coil polarity and humbucker

I want to build a 12 string Tele with a 5-2 Tele neck pickup, which is reverse wound, reverse polarity, combined with a Seth Lover bridge pickup. I'm wondering if the reverse polarity of the 5-2 neck pickup will play well with the humbucker. I already have a Tele with 5-2s in it and love the sound of them, but want the sweet sound of a Seth Lover at the bridge for this 12 string. I'm hoping that the combination of the 2 (apologies to Janis Joplin) will also sound good, but not sure about the polarity issue. I'd probably want to split the Seth Lover as well. Any thoughts out there?

Re: single coil polarity and humbucker

Do you have a 4-conductor pickup???

With 4 cond you have the ability to split (or go parallel)....but also the flexibility to simply reverse/swap wires to find the right non out of phase setup for combining with the 5-2.....and perhaps also for the split to be hum cancelling.

I haven't tried the Seth specifically, but imo other similar pups work better in parallel than split.
