Single Coil Sized Buckers Question

Will single sized strat buckers fit under a regular humbucker chrome cover?

I am doing somthing like this...

...and personally I find it to look ugly so I thought I would hide it.

I know there will be the screw holes in the cover but I know away around that.

if its fits on the pickup mouting ring a regular pickup cover should fit with no problem

I went and messured one out from the numbers I got of off the duncan website. It should fit for what I am wanting. Now which pickups to go with.

PRS Style Swamp Ash body with Mahogany carved top.
Rosewood neck with scalloped ebony fingerboard.
Tune-o-matic bridge.

Looking for somthing with bright with nice high, lots mids, and a good crunch.
Looking for more of an old school metal tone. Maiden, Lynch, ect. Maybe a Hotrails? JB jr?
