Single Coils to match a JB Bridge in a floyd rose Ibanez?

I'm in the process of fixing up my old Ibanez. Needs a setup, etc.

Right now I have Dimarzio HS-2's in the neck and middle. There OK (kind of one dimensional if you will) but I've been wondering what might be a good match for the JB bridge pup I have in there now.

Also though of routing the heck pup spot to fit a humbucker for a H-S-H setup as well.

Suggestions?

My first pickup swap out on my strat was for a pair of rio grande tall boys and a jb in the bridge. It was a great setup and covered a lot of different styles.

IMHO, an SSL-1 or SSL-2 works great with a JB.
I have an HSH strat with JB - SSL-2 - Jazz. Very versatile combination.

I have a cool rails in the neck of two super strats, C5 in the bridges and I think I have found my perfect neck "single coil". Not the most vintage sounding, but still sounds like a single coil. It is a sweet lead tone, and I like the cleans out of it also. Output seems to match up well with the moderate to hot bridge buckers.

This coming from a guy who is not a single coil purist, so take it from the source.

I guuess SSL 1 or 2 will work well ..probaly SSL3 will match better in terms of output

Thanks guys! Appreciate the suggestions. I'm starting to check out the pups on the SD site now to see which direction I should go.

My Strat has a JB in the bridge, a Bill Lawrence L-280 in the middle, and a Bill Lawrence L-298 in the neck. The Lawrences match the JB quite nicely for tone and output, plus they are hum free.

I put a set of Duncan Classic Stack Plus neck and middle pickups and a JB Trembucker in a Tom Anderson guitar last year and thought it sounded fabulous. We used 250K pots and .02 Sprague orange drop caps.

Quarter pounder anybody?

I do have it. TB-6 in the bridge, SSL-4 in the middle and SH-2N in the neck. Smoking! The SSL-4 is very powerful, almost like a humbucker, but more open, less compressed and cleans up really well. Pretty middy, though...
