Single or single-size hummer for neck to pair with a split Super Distortion in bridge

Got a partscaster Tele with a Super Distortion in the bridge. Volume pot went hinky so I replaced it with a 500k I had laying around that happened to be a push/pull. Figured while I was in there I might as well hook it up to coil split the hummer.

The other night I was messing around and got a good super-clean twang out of this setup. The only thing missing was a neck pickup to add in there. (I don't like bridge-only for cleans).

SO: recommend me a single-coil OR single-size humbucker that would be a good match in terms of volume and tone for a split Super D. SDS-1??

I have virtually no experience with single coil pickups but that is what I have room for between the 24-fret neck and bridge pickup mounted a bit further from the bridge than usual. (It looks odd with a humbucker ring stuck under the strings near the neck.)
What I really, really, really do not want is magnetic pull on my strings!

The SDS-1 might work, other Dimarzios could include the Chopper, Pro Track, maybe the Fast Track 1 (all rail humbuckers). If you want it to balance with the Super D split, I'd tend toward the Fast Track 1 and the Chopper.

I don't know the Duncan catalog as well off the top of my head other than the Lil 59 might be a good choice. Lots of choices beyond what I know, best wishes on the journey!

Thank you. I think I will just go with whichever I find a great used deal on first.
