Single pickup to selector switch

I have a guitar that i pulled the neck pickup out of so it only has a bridge pickup. Id like to take out both volume and tone pots but keep the selector switch so i can switch between the bridge position and the neck (muted) position. The pickup i have only has two wires, a white one and a bare one, which i assume is the ground wire. No diagrams came with the pickup (it’s a frankentone p94 i got for pretty cheap). How would i go about wiring this to the switch and then to the jack?

You won't be able to do it well with the pickup selector switch, but if you got a DPDT switch you could do it easily.

The wire that is supposed to be going to the volume is the white wire on your guitar and the main ground is the black wire. Don't forget to ground the bridge.

The pickup selector switch will work fine. Just ground the neck side and the middle if it's a blade. So neck and middle will be kill and bridge will be on.

Chris, why do you bs people so frequently?

How frequently do I do this and why hasn't it been brought to my attention? I was just trying to say it would be more intuitive to use a two way switch than a three way switch for this application.

Several times a month up to several times a week. I didn't bring it up because I didn't want to be mean. You have good knowledge, have built guitars, and wound pickups, and then it seems like you just make stuff up without doing even a quick internet search to make sure what you say is correct.

Sometimes in the mornings I use the SDUGF to get my brain moving, and some times I guess I can probably say some really stupid stuff. Then there are cases like this one where I write my essay before even reading the full prompt and just start making assumptions, but I try to stay on top of it.
