no, it's not weird al...it's another more punk like band...i only heard it once on XM radio and forgot the name.

weird al - smells like nirvana
the melvins- smells like teen spirit
and some religeous band made a cover called smells like thirtysomething spirit
but i doubt any of em its the one your looking for
