Smooth jazzy blues electric slide

Re: Smooth jazzy blues electric slide

Great stuff! I wish I could play slide like that. Back to the woodshed, I guess.

Now that was sweet ... Strat/SD through what type of amp? Or other device?

Re: Smooth jazzy blues electric slide

Believe it or not, that was into my Digitech RP100, factory setting number 3, then into Adobe Audition on my PC. I usually go through my Fender Hot Rod Deluxe, but at home I use the RP100.

I also use very heavy strings (16-18-24-34-44-54) and a heavy brass slide.

Nice!

How do you have your guitar set up/ radiused or flat action?

I still dig that People get ready clip from a few years ago:smokin:

I just put heavy strings on my old Strat which pulled the action up a bit. Other than that, nothing. It's radiused neck.

The Strat is one that Seymour himself set up when I bought it at Fender Soundhouse in London in 1973. Seymour was the technician there ... we were both kids. We formed a band and did one gig in Frankfurt Germany.
