SNS Neck + WLH Bridge...has anyone tried this combo in a Les Paul?

I've had both sets. The SNS set was uncovered. I thought it was a little on the bright side but liked that in the neck. I liked the WLH set better. I just thought it fit right however, I did like the SNS neck tones a bit better and think it might be better for some clean work in the neck when needed. I just want to make sure I don't lose the middle position magic. How does that position sound with the SNS neck and WLH bridge?

Yep I've tried it. The SNS is the most versatile neck pickup in the "vintage range" in my opinion. I like the in between position to have a little bit of that strat or Tele clank to it, and the SNS keeps that present even with a hotter bridge pickup. I'm in the minority in thinking the WLH is just too hot and dark as a neck pickup. In fact it makes a great bridge pickup, I've currently got one in my Les Paul and its phenomenal, solid bottom end, smooth crunchy mids and a good match with my Burstbucker 1 in the neck.

Thinking about using a SNS in the neck on my incoming Carvin AE 185 and have a new Trembucker Hybrid on hand. Was wondering what that pair would sound like so??
Watching this thread.
I have a 59 with an A 4 mag swap paired with a JB in my 95 Washburn USA MG 102 and really like the clarity and articulation of the 59 A4. Thought the SNS should be similar.
