so a friend fried his line 6 during a small jam session...

Re: so a friend fried his line 6 during a small jam session...

don't dispute facts:
-the amp was a line 6
-was it chinese made? i'm sure it was since american and british made amps are superior in every aspect and don't catch fire.
-it burned due to poor chinese craftsmanship and parts.

i owned a line 6 chinese made spider and it was pretty good. when i actually found out it was chinese made, i lost all respect for line 6 and i sold it after a few months. i don't dig chinese junk.

Yes, I am sure it was chinese made, but not for the reason you listed.
Plenty of american made amps have caught fire for various reasons, and as shown by my other posts there are Chinese made amps that are every bit as good as American made.

Edited cause I am an idiot that can't read.

So you had an amp that was pretty good (when judged by your ears) and then you decided it was junk when you saw where it was made?

My amp was made in America by a drunk guy with a mustache the way Jesus intended.

The truth of this is very true. Jimi played British-made amps and they NEVER blew up. FACT.
