So do I start a bidding war?

Re: So do I start a bidding war?

I'd wait until the very end and try to snipe it. No need to pay way more than you need to.

Re: So do I start a bidding war?

I wouldn't start anything until the last couple of minutes. But I'd do whatever it takes because that thing is awesome. Provided you have the necessary monies, of course.

Re: So do I start a bidding war?

I'm not really into that whole bidding war thing. Wait until the end and put in the most you'd pay for it.

Re: So do I start a bidding war?

i've used a free sniping service for ebay before. seems to work alright. worth a try if you have an idea of how much you'd be willing to pay max. but that thing is freakin sweet...

Re: So do I start a bidding war?

I’m a little worried about the cracking/lifting on the headstock face and the overall condition in general. I’m waiting on pics from the owner.

I can’t believe it is over $600 already. :(

They usually hit around $850-$900. Almost a new SG Classic.

Re: So do I start a bidding war?

Thats a lot of money for a 1991 guitar. You could buy an aftermarket p90 pickguard and mod a normal SG to be p90's for about the same $

Re: So do I start a bidding war?

This guitar was relisted due to the winner not paying for it. I won the auction this time and got a way better price.

More to come.

:D

Re: So do I start a bidding war?

Nice snag. Be ready for it to be a tad neck heavy. Simple fix: toss some fishing weights in a zip lock bag and then wrapped in duct or electrical tape in the control cavity.

Be ready for it to be a tad neck heavy. Simple fix: toss some fishing weights in a zip lock back and then wrapped in duct or electrical tape in the control cavity.
That's pretty smart.

It does the trick. I remember my Jr. being a tad neck heavy when I had. Bugged the crap out of me and then our drummer mentioned putting some weight in there and wha-la, it work perfectly. Don't remember how many I used though. ;)
