So how's my playing?

I'm just wondering how my playing is. This really doesn't ahve any form. A lot of this was made up as I went along. I could write a structured piece but that would just be a testament to my ability to pick out harmonies and take 5 hours to write a song that may not be that great in the end. :smack:

When recording you really need to get an idea of what you want to play in your mind before you record it. Being able to sing it or at least hum it helps a TON.
For the rythym any way.

Feel free to go nuts with your leads but try to layer tracks so you have some substance, you know?

honestly, I don't have the attention span and the product never seems to turn out to be the sum of all the work I put into it.

Well, to be honest, your tone, or at least your method of recording, is not working. I can't comment on your playing because your tone just ruins everything. If you were to play the most amazing solo, I wouldn't be able to tell. How are you recording and what gear are you using?

Its rough, but with some rhythm and tone tweaking... it could have punk potential..
