So I have been leaving my Roland Microcube on...

Aceman

I am your doctor of love!
For days and days. mAybe weeks at a time.

Seems to work just fine.

Fire Hazard at some point maybe? Kill the power adapter maybe?

Those run on pretty low voltage. Not really hurting anything as long as it’s all in good shape; power cord not chewed on, not full of dust.

I left my Carvin Belair on standby for a month

Made my power bill high is all

I left my Bugera G5 on for 2 hours while I ran to the store

It died , never another sound

Yeah, what you're doing wrong is turning a Roland Microcube on. You toss those in the skip and get a real amp. Unless you're keeping it in "tuning fork" mode, in which case, rock on wid cho badd sef.

I would not leave a power amp on for so long just because it's not intended to use it that way, like a TV for example. More, an additional problem is not even the amp itself but te random external power supply voltage fluctuations

Is it that difficult to hit the power button? You are wasting energy and shortening the life of the amp on purpose for what reason?

Actually, yes. It is in a really pain in the @$$ position on the back, surrounded by crap, and isn't a regular switch...

My Cube sits under the piano
against the wall
It's a bit awkward to get too

I got a smart plug and have Alexa turn it on when I need it
