Flexwave 120h 3channel amp with DSP and channel tracking. I've been playing it for 15 minutes now. Its good, not stellar, not Sucky. Just good. I'm going to have to actually read the manual ha ha.
Made in the USA!
The delay sounds are right on the money!
The equalizer is very useful, if I end up using a board in front of it, there is a lot of adjustment there. More than I'm used to anyhow.
Its not very hissy....
The chorus is big, the phaser is rather mellow.
Its got a built in tuner, pretty cool.
It does a sleazy kind of mellow high gain.. GnR kinda thing...I can get a crunchy ACCEPT kind of tone...
Will need lots of tweaking when I get time...maybe Friday evening I can make some time.
I'll get some sort of audible sound bytes for you guys in a couple days.
In all I'm pretty pleased especially since I bought it as a blem from MF...
When you all went cray over those bugera blowouts I found this one hiding there.
It's a fatty at 28lbs!
This channel tracking thing is going to hurt my brain! Basically when youbswitcj from channel to channel, it remembers your effects settings from previous channel plus there's another saved bank in the footswitch.... Too much for me this late.
I'll get it fingered out this weekend maybe.
Used on eBay they are running 250-350... I paid $129shipped!
That's a sweet amp for $129! I always try to buy made in the USA stuff when I have the option, even after moving to Europe. Great deal for that alone!
That is heavy though, so even at that price it would have cost me an arm and a leg to order one and have it shipped here (even though it would be useless to me without my power converter which is about 20 pounds itself).
Anyway, nice find and I look forward to some clips if you ever get around to it. I can't believe you found a 120W head for $129. That is a lot of bang for the buck.
dude. Sweet deal!
now scour Ebay for a used Duncan Twin tube blue pedal ( killer sleeper pedal at ridiculous used prices) to add analog warmth to the front end, and you are golden.
