I am so jealous. That rig is cool, cool, cool. If you can't afford the cab right away, work a deal with him, or pay him a few bucks for right of first refusal or something. It would be a crime to separate that pair.

'Way back when, I had one of each:

2203 and 2204. This is perhaps the one rig I'd most like to have back again, even moreso than my Hiwatt DR103 head (ducks south-bound flying objects from WhoFan.)

Picked it up yesterday, unfortunately the cab wasn't up for sale. However, i got a chance to crank it, and unsurprisingly, its absolutely awesome. Huge crunch, sounds great with the LP and the strat, and takes my myriad of FX great! Now, 'scuse me, i'm going to rock.

You don't suck, you rule! I love love love colored Marshalls. My secret dream is to own every colored Marshall. Even if you have to steal money out of your mum's purse, GET THAT CAB! A matching halfstack seems sorta cool now, but in 10 years, it'll be a priceless heirloom. Once it's tubed up with the best tubes and biased perfectly, it'll sound better than it did in the 70's. Those things don't go down in price.

It's actually not that expensive to get a cab re-covered in tolex. Too bad the matching one wasn't for sale. I also love the colored heads. I'd love to own a bunch of different colored one's also.

Do you have a cab to play it through at home?
