Yo long time user first time poster. but like what is this? i couldnt find nothing using Microsoft Bing search engine but this is in the app store, but i don't know what it #does

so this is real? wild stuff. i didn't DL (short for down load) the app because Im afraid of getting a virus, but I guess u need the actual switch anyway? is that coming out this year? I would buy one so hard. My guitar with Invaders could do many things lol.

Looks like the "HyperSwitch" was something created/co-developed by EGOGuitar a few years ago and now SD has the rights and is developing their own updated app interface for it.

Pretty dang unique idea, really!


Edited for FYI: The only reason I posted this info is that SD already has the app published on the 2 biggest app stores in the world and people are clearly coming across it (hence this thread), so it's not exactly a secret. Can't wait to hear more about it!

My understanding is you will be able to reprogramm the settings on the switch if all the pup wires are connected to the switch.
My grief is you probably need a battery to run the switch.

The ability to flip through every possible combination, series, parallel, in phase and out of phase, then program the best 5 without needing to swap wires for all options is very cool.

Oh dang, u right. I have some active guitars already that I love, so adding a battery to my non actives isnt super appealing lol. however maybe the battery is built in and you can just charge it over USB. thatd be so dope!! what is this thing gonna cost?
