So Schecter is making amps now?

...and they make a 4x12 cab with a crossover and a woofer in it and call it a depth charge?

I'm not sure what to think of this.

Re: So Schecter is making amps now?

The amps are designed by James Brown, the guy that designed the 5150.

Enough said.

Re: So Schecter is making amps now?

They look pretty freakin' sweet, but the prices are pretty steep. I think I read somewhere that the price of one of the sig 100w heads MSRP is like $3,500. I'll double check real quick.

EDIT: looks like it's actually $2,600 street.

I thought Mike Soldano designed the 5150.

Except he called it the SLO-100.

the 5150 it's clearly based off the SLO, but it has enough changes to call it a different amp, actually the recto series 1 it's a lot closer to the slo than 5150

Re: So Schecter is making amps now?

That's pretty ambitious for a company whose bread and butter is sub-$1k guitars.

I at least picked up on the fact you were being coy with your comment. The others missed it and looked at it as a chance to do some fact checking and schooling. That one went right over their heads.
