I always used a APHII paired with the 78,EVH frankenstein and the CC
I like the PG neck with its bridge brother or a JB or JB2

A2PN, I like it better than a PGN, at least with the stock magnets in them.

I've got the APH-1n w/cc bridge and love it, but am waiting for my c/59 hybrid. When that comes, I plan to try it in the place of the cc w/APH-1n. On Blueman's recommendation, I also have some UOA5 mags on order to try when the hybrid gets here. I do like the butteryness of the A2 mag, but am always looking for tonal nirvana.

Had the AP2 with the Custom Custom in a cheapo guitar a few years ago and it totally sounded awesome.

I used one in conjunction with an A2P neck for awhile and they are just a wonderful combination.

I would go Pearly Gates neck. The CC is pretty damn powerful. Any boost I can give to the neck pickup I'll take.

I use it with a PG in a Carvin DC400 (alder & maple w/ebony board). Warms things up nicely through a Marshall.
