So, yeah, I bought a guitar.

Tell us how you really feel.

Lol...I'm not. I've been remarried for several years, now, to my sweet Nubian Princess (she hates when I call her that lol) and we have an awesome little boy who loves guitars and trucks.

I just figured it made for a better story.

Good to hear. Well have fun with the guit-fiddle.

Cool score, I always liked that Yamaha did the adjustable locking nut. I could never work out why other companies didn't pick up on this.

I'm pretty sure I remember you posting that guitar here back then, loved that one then in pink, love this one now in black. Happy New Guitar Day man! :headbang:

Sweet guitar! Glad you've got this one on the way. It belongs where it's appreciated.
It has a variety of cool features I remember seeing in other shredder guitar brands back in that era - the output jack positioned for looping the cable through the strap is like what Hamer did on some models, though not exactly like Yamaha did. The arched top, neck through construction and scaled down body remind me of a Kramer Stagemaster.
You're right about Yamaha being very receptive to innovation and cutting edge features on their instruments.
