Some clips of my ENGL Savage 120 with the new tubes and all

Okay finally got round to setting up my mic (not that its that good, but it does the job) and recording some clips of my ENGL with its new tubes and stuff.

then there is a clean and a chunk channel 4 clip at the top and second top respectively on my song list.

They are done with my Jackson and its JB/crapjacksonsinglecoil/JBJr (HSS) pickup config, through my ENGL vintage30 quad.

Mind the playing, im hungover and theres a fair bit of slop...but it can give a bit of an idea how the amp is sounding.

And its all on very low volume too, the master is hardly up on anything, its all pretty much preamp gain for that distorted clip.

I havent got proper speakers so can't hear the clips properly, but they sound good overall. why don't you post them under Tips and Clips?

YA - I think that amp has some great tone. I can only imagine what it sounds like withe power tubes cooking, and the pre-amp gain rolled off a bit. How many watts is that amp, and have you thought about getting an attenuater.

BTW, I think those JJ's really made a difference in your tone.

Yeah im looking forward to getting it crankin, ive definitely gotta get an attenuator, for that amp and for my others.

That ENGL is a 120watt amp!
