Swamp ash body, curly maple veneer top. Bird's eye maple neck, bird's eye maple board stained rosewood. 57/69 pups. And finished with clear gloss poly.



Basswood body. Maple neck with rosewood board. Lace Sensors...Blue, Silver, Red. Finished in fluorescent green (glows under blacklight), and clear gloss poly.



Alder body. Maple neck with rosewood board. DMZ FastTrack 2 bridge pup, Lil 59 neck wired in parallel, (can't remember off-hand what I put in middle). Finished in Iridescent Ultraviolet Pearl lacquer, and clear gloss nitro lacquer.



Ash body. Maple neck with maple board. Quarter Pound bridge pup, Vintage Rhythm neck. Finished in fluorescent orange, and clear gloss poly.

How did you et the quilt on there? Veneer?

For me, this and this for the win. Though I must say that is one long straight vibrato arm.

Hi,
Very very very nice. What kind of tremolo/bridge is on the first strat (swamp ash, curly maple veneer..). It looks stk 2 fulcrum Fender but that cool long arm makes me wonder. The arm looks thicker than normal.

I really like the Quilt Strat. After that it is a tossup between the Kawasaki Green Machine and the Orange Tele. Doc, you need to do a build thread once in awhile, and stop surprising us so much! LOL

Thanks for the nice comments. I think I should have taken those pictures either in the shade or indoors, because the sun really washed out the colors...especially on the two fluorescent ones. I took a couple more pics this morning, but they're not great either, I should have taken them in the afternoon, but I'm not home in the afternoon...dilemma. Oh well.





Anyway:
The bridge on the maple Strat is a two point trem, I think I got it from GFS. It's been a while and I don't quite remember...didn't take any notes. I think it was this one...

Really stays in tune. I like the two point trems much better than the vintage 6 point trems.

I shaped the neck into a soft "V" which is really comfortable to play.

I think the orange Tele is my favorite to play. It's got such a great tone. Very fat with lots of bite and sparkle.
The ultraviolet Strat is perhaps my favorite color though. Pictures can't capture its pearlessense.
