Very nice. I like your tone, sounds good. I thought the intro was kind of distracting though, and the vocals weren't that great. It kind of sounded out-of-place in my opinion. Other than that, it's terrific. Thanks.

Thanks for the input!

I'm guessing you're talking about the intro to "Your Favorite Stranger" being distracting/out of place? Did you not like ALL the vocals or just some?

Thanks again.

Yeah, that was the one. The chorus helped, but I couldn't really dig the vocals. The other songs were a slight improvement vocally. The music is good though - good old rock and roll. Looking forward to hearing more. Thanks.

Thanks for your response axeripper! Glad you liked the music even if the vocals weren't your style. & Thanks for the compliment on the tone. I've had the Tonelab for less than six months, but so far it's incredible with Seymour Duncans. Very organic tones & easy to dial in changes. I can't wait to try my new 7-string (w/ newly installed SD Custom-7 in the bridge) with it at rehearsal this week!

Anyone else given the clips a listen? I've shown this EP to some friends & co-workers, but I'm looking for some feedback from people who don't know me personally. It's usually more honest that way... :scratchch

BTW - I produced & engineered the EP using my home recording setup (computer-based system). Learned some valuable lessons from this one & would track things a bit differently the next time, but I am pleased with the overall result.

I had the tone lab too and it was great, but I traded it in to upgrade to the AD100VT combo amp. Now I use Rocktron effects and woudln't change it. Rocktron + VOX = Rock
