Someone ever try this one sometime? (DS-1 ultra)

Re: Someone ever try this one sometime? (DS-1 ultra)

I hear it's really worth it. I hear its one of the best, most versitile Distortion pedals ever once modded (because it's easy to mod). Keely-izing it is just Keeley throwing all the best mods into it at once.

I had a Keeley DS-1 Ultra for about a month but it was sort of duplicating the sound of my gain channel so I didn't need it after all. It sounded good but was a little loose for palm muting. The best Marshall-type pedal I've owned is the MI Audio Crunch Box. Nice and tight and sounds great.

P.S. Since you have a DS-1, you should send it to STRATDELUXER97 and have him mod it. Do a search and you'll see he has many happy customers.

STRUTDELUXER, ++1 he moded my TS9 the thing is freaking amazing, bucket load of tone and sustain and I almost sold it before he worked on it, and real balls behind what ever your amp can give. If I ever think of going back to distortion pedal I will definately consider DS-1 by him at the very top of my list.
