Something about the JB...

500k volume for neck, 250 volume for bridge, master 500k tone thats p/p to split both pups. i only go into old style tube amps, so not sure how it sounds into a sim.
Well, the HX Stomp does have a variable input impedance. It's normally set to 1M, much like most tube amps' inputs. So in that regard, it should react the same-ish to pot values. But you can load the pickups by lowering it on the unit in several steps. I assume they do that more to "play nice" with fuzzes or stuff like that or with outboard gear that's line level. But the next step from 1M is 230K, and I feel it's too big of a jump, and it takes it to the extreme. Going from a 500K to a 300K or 250K pot should be more subtle than that, and more in line with what I'm trying to achieve.

I hope.
