im posting this here for tom, as aparantly th one in the other thread dosent work!
this song is inspired by "final fantasy 7", it is an atempt at somthing a bit diferent and still needs a lot of work!
any oppinions would be great, thanks

ps you will need powertab to open it
try and imagin the guitars with decent tone! powertab is crap for that

Re: somthing a bit diferent...

Well I listened to the whole thing.

imo the main riff should be played on piano

And make that a 6/8 section instead of having all those triplets!

I imagine the solo would sound great on electric and not a power tab guitar.

the power tab tips are so dumb..

Tip #10

Dont play your electric plugged in whilst in the bath

it sounds bad on a piano actualy! it sounds ace on the guitar becausy i let the whole into bit ring and do i little whammy bar dip thing for every note, sounds realy cool and bubbely

also with the drums the triplets sound beter than 6/8 because it speeds it all up, kinda prog rock style
lol for tip 10! they realy do suck!

what do you think of the 2 guitar harmony part?

Ah, drums on a four count, guitars playing triplets. I haven't seen the tab, but I've got a tune in a similar situation, and we found that counting off in 12/8 time really put a nice swing into the tune. Granted, I haven't heard your tune, but you might consider 12/8.

Re: somthing a bit diferent...

my drummer has infinite rhythem in 4/4 but he died when i told him how to play 3/4
12/8 may kill him! i need to get him some theory i know.
anyone fancy writing some lyrics for that there song?

Re: somthing a bit diferent...

I tried to download it and extract the files, but was unsuccessful. Maybe you could convert it to mp3 or a wav file?
