Sonar + EZDrummer help!

I'm so close I can taste it! I can insert EZDrummer as a softsynth. Then I can play grooves from the popup window in EZDrummer. I CAN'T drag a groove from the EZDrummer window into Sonar, it says "File Not Found". If I manually find the Midi file from the Toontrack folder and drop it onto the track it works.

Do I need to setup a Midi library or point it to that Toontrack folder/directory or something?

Also, after I close a Softsynth (EZDrummer) how do I open it back up? (when the soft synth is still in the project)

Thanks. :) Again, so close yet so far away!

Re: Sonar + EZDrummer help!

Apparently you need to run in Admin mode in Vista to drag and drop.

Any tips on how to create your own beats or modify existing beats? The piano roll seems pretty tough to use...

It's really hard to hand craft good beats without a midi controller. Doing it one beat at a time with a pencil tool sucks.

I used to have Fruity Loops, that was a lot more intuitive. Oh well, maybe an M-Audio controller is in my future.
