Soruces for 'old-skool' stompbox repairs?

Hey all,

I've got a few old-school boxes kickin' round that've been kicked just a few too many times and I'd like to get 'em repaired sooner or later.

Who out there is good at this kinda stuff? I've got a local guy that I trust with amps & stuff but he doesn't want to touch a pedal unless I have a schematic for it which doesn't make a helluvalotta sense to me.

Then again, sometimes he can BARELY retube a Twin w/o screwing something else up...

Anyway, here's the list. They're kinda varied...

~ '70s MXR Flanger & Ross Phaser that need new switches & jacks & are making way more noise then they should be.

~ Original TS-9 & MXR Distortion + that's 80s era. TS9 is dead, probably goes to analog man like my reissue did. Distortion + sounds thin & is genally fukked up.

~ Boss Digital Delay (DD-9?!) that's DOA.

I'm super close to NYC so if there's someone there who's rad they'll get 'em, otherwise I've got no problem shipping them to a reputable service person or company.

I might also be willing to work through 'em myself but the MXR stuff is definatly above my tech level...

Thanks!

I'd bet half your pedals are a simple fix. :D Dirty or oxidized switch's and jacks are most likely the culprit in most. I've bought my TS-9 back from the dead a few times. (Likely just a bad switch) SmallBear sells em' for .55 cents. If your tech needs schematics? They are readily available for most vintage pedals free on the web.
