Let's say you have a Gibby LP Special faded DC and a Gibby Flying V. Same wood type. Install same pickups in both (let's just say Pearly Gates neck and bridge, or really any combination- say P-90's)). What tonal differences will I hear betwen the two? Will the larger mass of the V make a big difference? I have never owned 2 identical eood type,"decent" guitars to try this out on...just curious.
