I use Eminence V12s, the second didnt sound like mine.. maybe because my Laney has a very odd EQ to it, but it doesnt sound middy like that. I had T75s in my laney before the V12s also, and they sounded absolutely horrible because of the insanely harsh highs.

How do Eminence V12's compare to Celestion V30's? V12's apparently are supposed to be smoother and have better bass response. I'm currently pulling my hair out trying to decide if I want the Emi version or just go with the real deal.

I like the solo of the A speaker and the rhythm of the B speaker. Hmm maybe think about a cross pattern in the cab. Would make nice mix.

Man, i really cant answer this as ive never had V30s. Never played through them in person either.. the V12 feels like it has a bit bigger bass to it, and is definately rounded off in terms of highs.

Both of the speakers were in same condition? Already had their "brake-in" or are the speakers brand new?
