Speaker for 6505

I'm thinking of going for a 6505 head now... it seems that there really isn't that many alternatives available here. Not to say that the 6505 doesn't sound to my liking!

I'm going to play it through a marshall cab at our rehearsal space, but for occasional home use and recording I'm planning on building a 1*12 cabinet for it.

What speaker would you recommend for it? I'd like something warm, singing and balanced.

an eminence delta 12A pro. I have some real EV and the eminence is every bit as good and handles more power... also cheaper! Great for a 1x12.

i was going to recommend that too. those speakers are really good sounding and are of the few that can handle the high wattage from the 6505

Delta 12A Pro? How would you compare it to the other popular ones of the Eminence lineup? It looks like they have a couple of other speakers too that should be able to handle the wattage. Also, does the "Pro" mean anything in the name? All I can see from my retailer is just Delta 12A speakers.

The pro is there because it was origionally intended for pro audio use.

Aaaah, ok, now I get it! I'll have a look at it and see what prices they go for around here.

Any other recommendations from anyone?
