Thanks, guys. Initially I had though nothing but a Celestion Blue will do. But being just a home player, I worry about blowing the walls down (the Blue is 100dB efficient!). I guess I could build an attentuator but I think it would hurt the tone of the amp. So the Greenback and the Blue are very different animals?

I'm hearing great things about the Weber 12A125A Alnico speaker. Just about everyone who puts it in loves it, and says it beats the equivalent Jensen. My question is, how does it compare to a Celestion Greenback?
All you Tweedy lovers gotta know!
Thanks,

Thanks again, guys. Looks like my original thought (Celestion Blue) was the best - but it'll take longer to save for that one! The amp puts out about 15 Watts, but remember, I'm an apartment dweller. So Lew, looks like you're saying the Celestion Blue is worth it? Funny no one's mentioned Weber's version of it, the Blue Dog, but it's not cheap either - an extra $50 gets you the real thing. I'm definitely sold on Alnico, though. None of the descriptions for Ceramic appeals to me. Yeah, I've looked at the Weber attenuators - I'll cross that bridge when I get there.
