Speaker for fender champ

I want to pick up a Fender Champ . What is a good speaker for the champ? it will be a silver face 70's and I am not sure if I want to replace the baffle to shove in a 10inch or just screw in another 8inch replacement speaker. I am going for a blues, Jazz, and maybe stuff like Dire Straits sultans of swing tone. I don't want it too high and ice picky as I will mostly just be using a strat and Gretsch Falcon. I may run a tube screamer into it but no heavy distortion box as I won't be using it for more than jazz or blues much and want a rounded clean tone. Any ideas from you guys that I should investigate?

You gonna wanna see what Eminence has to offer. I don't think you can do better for a Fender. Also check out what Weber has to offer.

+1 for Eminence - they've never let me down.

78 Silverface champ; I use a wgs g12q, 4 ohm in a 12" cabinet... It stays reasonably clean, not icepicky/shrill, not loud either though. I want to try a Tone Tubby, either 12" for my cabinet or 8" internal (I don't like the ceramic Italian Jensen ceramic so much, doesn't handle bass well and seems even farrier than the 6" in my old Champ 600 .

Don't know squat about the baffles. If it is possible I'd also like to suggest the Rajun Cajun.

Have one in a 5 watt Ibanez. It has the built in TS. I seriously dislike the original TS. And the amp came with an awful speaker. Picked the Rajun Cajun because it has some boost in the lows and highs and relatively flat mids.

Realize that there is a great deal of difference between our amps. The Ibanez has a 12ax7 and a 6v6. The speaker is has improved note separation and clarity, considerably smoother and does not seem to give brittle highs as compared to the original speaker. Also, the TS sounds really nice. Yes, I think it will cover the territory you mentioned.
