Hello. I just recently bought a cheap amp from a pawn shop and the speaker isn't in great shape. Has some holes but that's not too big of a problem really.
I had a couple questions.
Can I buy any ol' speaker and put it in there if it fits?
Are there different strengths of speakers that are the same size or is the volume of the amp determined by the electronics? Would all 8in speakers will be the same volume basically.
The amp is a little quiet compared to my other one (I am dual boxing amps).
The pawn shop amp is at full volume and the other amp I have I usually don't increase passed 35-40% volume.
Both amps are labeled as 35 watts, both are solid state, the pawn shop speaker is 8in and my other one is 10in.
