Speaker recommendations for a Marshall Cab

I have a 1960A Marshall Cab with four G12T-75s in it. I am interested in replacing the speakers with something better. When I was at Uncle Spot's shop one day, he ran my Marshall head through a cab with Weber California 12s speakers and it sounded great. I was also wondering about Weber's version of Celestion G12H-30s? Any recommendations? I (try to) play everything from rock to jazz to blues.

Thanks!

What do you want different. The G12-H have more bass and more mids with the high end rolled off. I just bought one and absolutly love it. It only handles 30 watts compared to the 75 so it breaks up and "fills" out a little quicker. Think 70's early 80's hard rock tone. The G12-H can be bought from avatar pretty cheap. The g12-H-30 are made in ENgland instead of China and cost 40% more. I got a hellatone 30 which is the G12-H run through a breaking in process for $79 new.

I use 2 Vintage 30's and 2 G12H-30's in an X pattern in my marshall cabs and they suit the marshall sound to a T (at least to my ears!!!). when you decise to buy definitely check out Dave at Avatar he's a great guy to deal with and has some great prices!!!

+1 on the Hellatones from Avatar. I may be buying a few of those Hellatone 30's to integrate into the Vin 30's I've always used in everything I own.

You may want to just buy 2 Hellatone 60's or 30's, and crisscross them with your G75T's. Your cab will cover more sonic ground that way. The Bogner Ubercab sounds huge and it's Vin 30/G75T. I have my Jubilee cabs loaded with that combo too. It's half as expensive that way, and you can even recoup some of the cost by selling both your 75T's.

Joe, can you hear the 75's in that combo? The Vin 30 is a much more efficient speaker and much louder than the 75's.
