Specs of Invader pole pieces?

Re: Specs of Invader pole pieces?

It's 10-32. That means a #10 screw with 32 threads per inch. The thread diameter is .190", which is 4.826 mm.

Thank you very much!
I guess I'll have to buy from eBay, pretty sure won't find it here down south...

Re: Specs of Invader pole pieces?

Hello, sorry for ressurect an old thread... Does the 10/32 means 8mm diameter of the thread part???
There are some screws in USA that we don't have in Brazil, like "standard set screws" which I don't understand very well too...

SAE/"standard" is American-eeze for INCHES SYSTEM parts (as opposed to metric)

What are you looking for, The giant cap head screws or the standard non head set screws?

I have bought several sets of regular pole screws straight from DiMarzio as the super distortion uses the same thread and pitch as the invader. They are like $5 a set, maybe more for shipping outside the us. Contact DiMarzio, see what they say. They are the right length and material for the pickup too.

They are 3/16" (.1875") diameter thread. The same diameter as the solid slugs. BE SURE NOT TO USE STAINLESS STEEL SCREWS, SLUGS ETC AS THEY ARE NON-MAGNETIC!
They have to be IRON!
