Spent the last 2 days rebuilding my pedal boards.

Have been using a couple old boards with wall warts to power them but had a couple new boards and bricks so have been busy. First off my small gig grab and go board. Picked up a pedal Train board and a one spot brick that was super clean at a local Pawn shop for $75 OTD so built it first. Wample Ego and Bell mini pedals in the front of the Amp then a Xotic Super Clean booster buffer, Rocktron Deep Blue Chorus. BOSS DD3 and a Neunaber Wet Verb into the loop put together a 15 foot snake and used a Cable Keeper system to tidy it all up. Sounds fantastic and will run it with my Zinky Velvet. Mesa F 30, OR PRS Sonzera 20 combos or the PRS first Gen Archon head. Next pulled out the Fender large aluminum board I have had in storage for over a year. So far am running a George Dennis Wah. Nobels ODR 1 and a xotic SP Compresson into the front of my PRS Custom 50 head. Right now gave a Boss DD6 delay and a Strymon Blue Sky in the loop. Have another Rocktron Deep Blue Chorus coming and will look at another verb like maybe a Strymon Cloudburst or a Boss RV 600 and also will pickup a Xotic Super Sweet. Used all Mogami Gold cables for a 20 foot shake and powered it all with a Voodoo Labs brick for now. This board is

How do you like that Rocktron DEEP chorus?

Tone. I ran a couple Rocktron rigs years ago and the Chorus has a smooth warm sweep to it, I can find on nothing else. The Rocktrons just don't have that high-end zing almost every other chorus has. I got used to it with my Voodoo Valve and Intellaflex and can find nothing else that sounds like this. Have owned a bunch of others and always come back to these.

Come on, you can fit a lot more on there!

Yep and have a couple of things coming but not here yet. Rocktron Deep Blue Chorus is one, and I am trying to decide if I want a Xotic Super Clean or a Super Sweet booster/ buffer on this board to offset the slight overall signal and high-end loss from the 20-foot cables running to and from the amp in the loop. Had a volume pedal on this board also at first but pulled it. Will likely also add something like a Strymon Cloudburst, just for a particular ambient tone I need at times. I also swapped to the Mesa F 30 from the PRS head with the larger channel switch last Saturday. It's all still all a work in progress with the Church rig as we make major changes in the room. The Mesa is a brighter, and snappier amp than the PRS, trying to see which fits the environment better. Both are fantastic sounding amps, but have different personalities. The smaller board will likely stay like it is, though.

I just finished building a small one, built on a PedalTrain Jr for acoustic guitar. A Line 6 M9, and an Ernie Ball Expression pedal, along with a small digital clock and a phone charger.

This week will drop the Deep Blue Chorus and a Xotic Super Sweet booster - buffer on the big board at Church. Been playing with the Super Sweet and the Super Clean on my small board to decide which goes where. Have a 20-foot cable run to and from the loop in my amp and my pedal board at Church, so need the high grade booster and buffer on that one in particular to offset that long cable run. The Super Sweet has more gain (a 20db boost vs a 12 for the Super Clean) and also has a little thicker, fuller tone, so it's going to that board.
After running those Xotic units for a while, I will never build another pedal board without one. They are subtle in what they do, but one of those pedals that you don't really notice or think about until you turn the off. When you do, it's an instant what happened to my tone. When you experience it first hand, you will understand. Turn them off and suddenly something in the overall tone is just missing. All the reviews of these I have seen are spot on, it's a pedal that will never be turned off in my board!

Also have one of these verbs coming that will likely get set for big ambient tones only. https://youtu.be/NIO2FT6AYXw?si=mg8Yo_Nvo-8Xar5G
That way, I can have the 2 presets on my Strymon Blue Sky for just different verbs and then use the Deep Blue for modulation and the Cetus for the ambient ethereal stuff at times on my Church board. That should fill out the big board nicely, don't you think?.
The Alabs Cetus is a killer, plus they are inexpensive if you can find one. They sell out as quick as they come in, so are hard to get. I grabbed one off of Amazon from the Alabs store a couple of days ago, but they are almost sold out again now. An absolute steal at $119!! https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CJRPXVYY?tag=jbsv-20&th=1
