Played around with it for about an hr at Ludlow Guitars, and only made it through two thirds of the presets.

Initial verdict: w o w

Am definitely going to revisit this piece. I am not a multi effects guy, but the H9 is a game-changer.

Hmm. I'd probably be more interested if it had more modulation machines than just chorus and tremolo.

It is open architecture, so it has as many different effect algorithms as you want, in theory. The presets include phase and rotary, chorus, trem, wah, ring modulator, and vibe. Dunno where you got only chorus and trem from...

I have a friend who bought a PAIR of H9s the day they were available, then had two pedalboards (big and small) built around them. I think that's a bit excessive.

What he should have done was buy two H9s, and send one to me.

I have a review unit on the way. I am very interested in seeing how versatile and user friendly the H9 is. It is Eventide so I will take the blind leap in saying it probably sounds fantastic.

I would say that a volume pedal is a must-have accessory to the H9, as well as some sort of MIDI foot controller.

One at a time I believe. My biggest gripe is the reliance on an iOS device to navigate, otherwise it sounds like they corrected a lot of the issues I had with the Factor pedals (slow switching, bad A/D conversion, etc)

It seemed rather long. I would guess in the 2 second range.

Really? The Factor pedals are that way, but I thought they had fixed that issue. Interesting.

The H9 just hit my desk 5 minutes ago. Looks like my weekend is now planned for me. If this pedal works as well as I hope I might have a few pedals for sale next week.

There is a free algorithm availabe for H9 users.

Time is running out! Don't forget to get Resonator which combines multi-tap delays, luscious reverb, and tunable resonances. This new algorithm is available free for download via the H9 Control application for iOS, Windows, or OSX for registered H9 users through December 31, 2013.
